Welcome to GV Malta English Centre, where we offer a range of English courses designed to help you achieve your language goals. Since 1999, our vibrant school has thrived within a picturesque Maltese villa in the seaside town of St. Paul’s Bay, just a few metres away from the inviting Mediterranean sea.

English courses for every level and need

Our teaching method follows a communicative approach, prioritising the use of English in everyday situations. Through interactive and engaging lessons, we focus on building your confidence and fluency. Classes are dynamic, encouraging participation through stimulating activities that immerse you in the language. With small group sizes, each student benefits from individual attention and personalised support, making your learning experience both effective and enjoyable.

General English Courses for Adults

Our General English courses are expertly crafted to enhance all key language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. We will place you in a class with peers of similar proficiency, creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Our highly qualified teachers use a blend of the Oxford University Press Navigate series and authentic, real-world resources such as videos, newspaper articles, and more.

Choose between 20 or 30 lessons per week
Classes from Beginner (A0) to Advanced (C1) levels.
Average of 6 students per class (maximum 12 students per class)
Starting every Monday
Possibility of adding private lessons

Exam Preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge and more international exams

Prepare for your English proficiency exams with our specialized course, combining 20 General English lessons with 10 personalized one-to-one exam preparation sessions per week. Tailored for all levels, this course ensures comprehensive readiness and success.

At GV Malta, we believe that learning is a journey best taken together. Bring your family to Malta and embark on a shared adventure that combines language education and cultural exploration. We offer English classes for kids and teens all year round. Young learners aged 4 years old and older can join courses for their age group at any time throughout the year. One of the key advantages of studying at GV Malta as a family is our ability to accommodate synchronised schedules.

Our shared student apartments offer a lively, budget-friendly housing option perfect for students who want to enjoy Malta with other students from our school. Located just steps away from GV Malta in the heart of St. Paul’s Bay, our shared apartments allow you to experience both comfort and community while you study and explore this beautiful Mediterranean island.

Rooms: Choose from single rooms or shared twin/triple rooms
Location: Just steps from school, with apartments 0 to 150 meters away
Fully Equipped Kitchen and Lounge: Each apartment includes a shared kitchen for cooking and a cosy lounge for studying and relaxing together
Affordable Comfort: Designed to fit tight budgets without compromising quality

Host Families

Students staying with a host family are given the best opportunity to practise their new English skills outside the classroom, while at the same time experiencing Maltese culture in a family home.
